Jaguar Breakfast meet

The next of the planned monthly Jaguar Breakfast Meets will take place on May 7, once again at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon, Warwickshire.

At the initiative of Peter Simpson of the JEC and XKEC, the first of these events was held on April 2 and proved to be extremely popular - with more than 150 Jaguars (and their proud owners) turning up at Gaydon.  Those attending were able to enjoy a hot breakfast in the museum cafeteria before gaining exclusive access to the new Collections Centre building where Jonathan Partridge, Vehicle Collection Manager for the Jaguar Heritage Trust gave a brief talk about the cars on display.

To set the scene, three cars from the Trust's collection were parked outside the buiding - the ex-works 1956 long nose D-type, a 1958 XK150 DHC and the famous 1961 Series 1 E-type OTS (reg 77RW) which is the first right hand drive convertible to be built.

The format for the second Meet on May 7 will be similar but it is also hoped that some of the latest Jaguar products will be on display including the new F-PACE. For more details visit
